Just a few things in my jewelry box :D What’s in yours?
DIY White Collar Necklace. Tutorial at A Paire & a Spare here. I have a few cheap rhinestone-y like necklaces that I would love to upgrade. Spray paint white and you have a more expensive, grownup look. See more at the tutorial link above. And let me just say that it doesn’t hurt that she is just gorgeous.
Crocheted bracelets! These are all of the colors I’ve been using and the patterns I’ve come up with. If you want one, they’re $4 each or 3 for $10. Just tell me what colors/pattern you want and I’ll whip one up and post them on Etsy so you can be guaranteed it’s safe and reliable :)
Here’s another addition to the array of items made from bicycle tire inner tubes:
Wrist cuffs, earrings, necklaces, and belts made by Urban Lace Jewelry from inner tubes collected from area bike shops.

So, following news about the U.S. Open made me wonder what one can make or do with old tennis balls. Upcycling them into jewelry is one idea.

I got this sweet little ring in the mail. It’s a yarn ball with needles through it. I’m a little obsessed with it…. “We wants it, we needs it. Must have the precious. They stole it from us. Sneaky little hobbitses. Wicked, tricksy, false! “
Um, I mean….I have a healthy obsession with this ring.
