DIY Black Drippy Creepy Halloween Candles. Tutorial from The House of Dewberry here. Photo doesn’t do these candles justice. Posting because you use paper and toilette paper rolls, plastic tea lights, glue gun and paint. Great tutorial.
DIY Super Easy Felt Halloween or Winter Holiday Garland. Turorial Found at Sparkle here.
truebluemeandyou: Canned Monstrosities. Reblogging because just at the dollar store and mini skeletons (really good ones 3/$1) and also lots of expandable creatures. But no fangs :(
DIY Canned Halloween Monstrosities. Tutorial from I Make Projects here. Love this tutorial because the author has so many ideas and explains how he comes up with his labels etc… Love most the part where he uses those expandable in water toys that you get for little kids at the Dollar Store. Also links to HPLHS vintage fonts which are AMAZING and FREE here.
truebluemeandyou: Shrunken heads, come on!
DIY Shrunken Apple Heads. Tutorial at Martha Stewart here (for head on top). Heads on bottom by Sharon Hays $80 at BDDW.com, found at NYT here. What’s interesting is that these apple heads were made into dolls in my area in the late 1700s and 1800s - scary old looking people dolls, but doll nevertheless! Now they are expensive folk art.
Free Download of Creepy Treat Halloween Labels. I particularly like Dragon Eyes (olives) and Deadly Night Crawlers (gummy worms). Free download can be found at Design. Wash. Rinse. Repeat. here. These go well with the Love Manor Flickr Labels found here. *photo not my own collage, but rather download of 1 image.
