Dreamcasting your characters
One thing I do every year is dreamcast my characters. A lot of people think it’s a waste of time, but it has never failed to help me. By having a reference for the physical attributes for my characters, it’s easier for me to stop worrying about it and move on to the meat of character development — their personalities, their flaws, and their motivations.
